Items such as equipment, weapons, and consumables can be found throughout the game world. Normally found within chests and other furniture within structures, there are a few out of the way chests that offer much higher loot rates. The higher the level of the zombies in the area, the higher the level of equipment and consumables that can be found, though it does also depend on the player's level. Certain Unique weapons exist that will spawn in the same place once, usually as a quest reward. Certain other Unique weapons exist, such as the Divine Weapons, that will respawn each time the game is quit out of and reloaded. (note: this does not constitute quitting and reloading the old save. The weapons will respawn in as you progress as well.)
Easiest way to farm exp is to climb to an elevated position that the possessed can't easily get to, near to a horde. Use grenades/flame shot to farm agility experience. Find a cart or a low wall near to the horde and swing with wild abandon to farm strength and endurance experience.
